Launch of second UK-wide IBD patient survey asks about YOUR experiences of care

The second nationwide IBD patient survey is coming in spring 2023

IBD UK is a partnership of 16 professional bodies, royal colleges and patient organisations working together to improve care and treatment for everyone affected by Crohn’s and Colitis. We want everyone with IBD to have consistent, safe, high-quality personalised care, whatever their age and wherever they live in the UK.

To help us reach this goal, we need to hear from you! We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our second UK-wide patient survey for people with IBD, coming in spring 2023.

The anonymous results of the survey will be benchmarked against the IBD Standards and compared to results from the last time we asked you to complete a survey in 2019, which led to the launch of our report Crohn’s and Colitis Care in the UK: The Hidden Cost and a Vision for Change.

By completing the survey to tell us about your experiences of IBD care, what parts of the hospital service you attend are working well for you, and which areas could be better, your feedback could help shape how the NHS improves its services to meet the needs of people with Crohn’s and Colitis across the UK.

Look out for more news coming soon about how you can get involved and share your views!
