The IBD 2023 Patient Survey is live.

Take the IBD Patient Survey now (LINK TO SURVEY).

We need everyone living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) to tell us their experiences of treatment and care to establish the first accurate picture of IBD care and treatment in the UK since before the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the first step to improving IBD services.

Have your say anonymously on whether your care and treatment for IBD is personalised, high-quality, safe, and consistent.

IBD UK is a partnership of 17 patient and professional organisations working together to improve care and treatment for everyone affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which is chaired by Crohn’s & Colitis UK.

Formed in August 2017, their first priority was to develop and publish new standards that define what good care should look like for people with IBD, and agreed that everyone with IBD deserves consistent, safe, high-quality personalised care, whatever their age and wherever they live.

The patient survey is an opportunity for everyone living with IBD to anonymously tell us about their experiences in order to establish the first comprehensive picture of IBD care and treatment in the UK since the pandemic.

We need your help to ensure that everyone living with IBD takes the survey.

The results will be published first in local reports, followed by a national report about the state of IBD care and services, and shared with people with IBD, policy makers, media, and the NHS.

The survey is part of the IBD Benchmarking Tool, which assesses how well services are doing against the IBD Standards.

Your data will be held safely and securely by the IBD Registry, who are collecting the anonymous survey responses on behalf of IBD UK. Find out more here.

The survey questions were developed through extensive consultation with people affected by IBD and with IBD UK board members. Have any more questions? Please see our FAQ or contact info@ibduk.org.

Thank you so much for being a part of the Patient Survey!
